The Bugatti Veyron is the quickest production sports car to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) with a proven time of 2.5 seconds. It is powered by a quad-turbocharged W16 engine and can reach an average top speed of 408km/h. The Veyron is produced by Volkswagen AG and has a base price of about US$1.44 million.
