Mashup of Google Map, Flickr & more…
This simple mashup retrieves data based on the keyword(s) you enter. A search of Google Map, Flickr, YouTube & Yahoo Travel will be returned available results with JavaSimpleObjectNotation(JSON). Some niceties I’ve added includes displaying enlarged Flickr image with Shadowbox and dynamic loading of JSON Javascript to create a ‘refreshless’ AJAX-like effect.
Prior to this, I’ve posted on how to “Grab Flickr Photos with Javascript!“. All 4 APIs share highly similar concepts of data search and retrieval.
